mydesi.net is a user-upload platform. We do not produce, commission, or own the material posted here. Any registered user may upload a file, and what appears on the Website is what our users have chosen to put there.
Before a file becomes visible, a moderator reviews it against a short list of serious problems. We reject material that:
This review is a safeguard against the worst cases, and it is what a moderator can judge by looking. It is not, and cannot be, a check of whether the uploader holds the copyright — nothing visible in a file tells us who owns it, and no review of the material itself ever could.
For that reason we depend on copyright owners to tell us when their work has been posted without permission, and we act on those reports quickly. The process for doing so is set out below.
We keep these records so that an uploader can be identified where the law requires it, and we will provide them to law enforcement on a valid legal request.
Video files are served from third-party storage providers rather than from this Website. Removing a page here removes it from mydesi.net. If you also want the underlying file deleted from the storage provider, say so in your report and we will act on it — we will not simply hide the page and leave the file in place.
If you report content to the police, a cyber cell, our hosting provider, or any other third party, they will ultimately contact us to have it removed. This adds extra time before the content comes down. Contacting us directly is the fastest way to get your reported file removed from the internet.
Contacting us first is entirely optional and does not limit any legal rights or remedies available to you.
If any content on our Services shows you or another person without their consent, or involves anyone under the age of 18, please report it to us immediately. These reports are handled with the highest priority, and you do not need to submit a formal DMCA notice for them.
You are also free to report such content to law enforcement at any time.
We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly post infringing material. Each valid Notification is recorded against the account that uploaded the material. An account that accumulates repeated infringements is closed, and we do not permit it to be reopened.
